found a new blog that makes me laugh!

president barack obama's teleprompter has its own blog
to be quite honest, i'm not 100% sure this blog should be funny
but i think it is,
but even if it isn't
i am going to keep laughing like it is! :)
so i'm not big on politics
i've got my opinions, but i honestly don't like to talk about them
but in a nut shell....
here is my #1 political view....
i feel that who ever is elected president
will do a far better job at it than i ever could
and that is why,
not matter what any one else says
i feel that all our past presidents
and present president
and respective future presidents
will all do amazing jobs with the circumstances they have at hand....

so because i don't really get into politics....i was quite shocked at how much i was interested in this blog!!!
i think the best part of the blog is, totus (as it likes to be called)
is quite honest about all the happenings that are going on
especially when it comes to his job.
cause you know....
his job is stressful
and
his job is crucial
i mean, he does know the president so well,
that he helps to finish his sentences!

thank goodness that totus has taken time out of his busy schedule
to keep the masses informed!
and keep me laughing!!!

on a daily basis,

and i must say that even though i don't know jam,
i feel like i get to know her more each day

the goods: i started reading matt's blog, when leah posted about him.
the blog focuses on maddy, matt's daughter, and matt's day to day life. matt's post are full of sweet pictures, and heart warming stories about this precious baby girl.

matt began his blog before maddy was even thought of, but as expected, when matt and his wife, liz, grew closer to becoming parents, matt's topics of choice shifted. when maddy arrived on march 24 of this year, you can imagine there was a precious post. (wanna read it??) the happiness that is expected during this time, was changed 27 short hours later when liz passed away. to completely understand what happened, it helps to start reading here.

matt and maddy have been blessed on a daily basis, by people who don't even know them, but have become attached to them through matt's blog. (like you will!!!) matt is very matter of fact, especially when it comes to liz. he uses words that my mama would gasp over, however, if you are ok with that, or can look past it, i think you will fall in love with his blog as much as i have!!

the goods:
last year i was fortunate enough to meet fout (garth)
he was our art teacher
fout was always willing and able to talk :)
and share knowledge of things
some days i would walk away from fout and ponder
some days i would walk away from fout and wonder
but every day i would walk away from fout laughing

fout and his family moved to ohio,
they are in search of a simpler life
but that means that i no longer have the daily conversations from fout that tell me about all the many things he knew (even if i could have cared less), not to mention there is NO one on the car rider duty that even cares any more! :( fout always had his own way of getting things done....and they worked!
so reading his blog.....allows me to have those moments where i ponder, wonder, and find my self laughing

*on another note....
right before flake and i got married, i happened upon a piece of work fout had done. it was a scribble picture (or so i would call it) of an actual picture of his family. i was quite amazed by it, and asked him if he could do the same thing for me....

blog title: Out on a Whim: Whimsical thinking with Annalee and Company

the goods: this is my first true blog stalking blog....
i don't know annalee
however i like her name.....wonder why?!?!
i found annalee's blog by comment clicking .... true blog stalking at its best :)
i became quite interested in annalee's blog when i realized that she was a kindergarten teacher.
but what got me hooked on her page was her "life long conversation" story about her relationship with her husband. she broke their story up into 15 parts, and i must say....it was a great story! :)
through reading her blog, i have come to know that annalee is a god-fearing christian, who loves and adores her family, and she and her husband also have a precious baby girl, who annalee just happens to writes many blogs about :)

because of annalee's blog, i have started reading about her nephew witt

witt was born october 23,

and he needs our prayers
his parents need our prayers
his family needs our prayers

witt's time on our earth will be short
but his time here will be spent surrounded by people that love for him and care for him and praise god for knowing him.

this is my first installment on blog stalking

i've decided to give you a glimpse into the blogs i feel the need to stalk on a frequent basis
some are people i know, some....not so much
but their stories pull me in, and i feel the need to continue to go back to their page

the goods:
i met brooke before she was a farr....

back when our lives revolved around discussing important things like.....
-why it is important to name a car
(some things never change)
-the movie toy story....and how much we loved woody :) (and how much we thought buzz was dumb) (again, somethings never change)
-chorus songs and dances
-who we thought was cool enough to be our friends......(ha!)
-debating on who was better .... big bird or marvin the martian (really.....)



I did my very best to influence brooke in the best ways possible.
(ha!!)
i tried my best to teach her about how cool it would be to wear her clothes like I did
(for some reason it didn't work)

i tried my best to convince her that she needed to live closer to me
(for some reason it didn't work)

i tried my best to explain to her how awesome big bird was....
and how marvin the martian was a little off
(for some reason it didn't work)

eventually, i gave up, and decided to allow brooke to teach me

over the years, through her actions, brooke has taught me
what it means to be a true friend
what it means to stay connected
what it means to be genuine
what it means to be an awesome christian
what it means to have a good time
what it means to be a good wife
what it means to be a good teacher

i am, and will always be, forever grateful to brooke for all the life lessons she has taught me.

what excites me the most about her blog is that even though she is not in the same town as me, she allows me to be part of her family and her life through her blog.

i get to keep up with what her little ones are doing, and how she....as a mommy, wife, teacher, christian handles it all!
(and she lets me make her headers too....which i think is so fun!!)
