flake and i had been wondering
ever since july 07
when i moved into my first apartment in this complex
but after many tallied votes
and after much speculation
IT IS OFFICIAL
we live in the ghetto!
we had an idea when the "gates" would be broken
and they were broken by people running into them because they were too lazy to punch in the code
we had an idea when people were too lazy to open the dumpster door....and would just dump their trash right beside the dumpster
we had an idea when we found loads of stuff outside of our apartment....because someone had gotten upset with their significant other ....that is when i got the gift
we had an idea when the peewee football field directly behind our building was playing soljaboy over their pa system
but we found out for sure when flake had to call the cops because three teenagers were outside....our window....fighting
ahh! the joy of apartment living! :)

Oh yes, we've all been there at one time or another. It's been awhile for us, but Jim and I still laugh and retell stories from our first apartment.
What? You don't just LOVE apartment living? Ah, the good ole days! LOL
Thanks for stalking me! What JAM doesn't know is I can bite (ask Hubby)...;) JK
Yes, been there, done that and glad I'm no longer permanently attached to someone else's living space.
I LOVE IT! Those days for us were the BEST! I got all of my household goods, and some of my furniture, from those dumpster diving days. Ohhhh the stories I could tell about the apartment days in Los Angeles.
The head is awesome. How thoughtful a gift. It needs to be a mantle piece for awhile, then the type of gift you circulate for the year. You know, give it as a present for birthdays, or Christmas one year, then the next year the receiver passes it on. However, as the first recipient of the "head" you need to start the gift giving cycle with "papers" that go with it. The papers have its title, or name, who gave the gift, who received it and any special information added. When it gets passed to the next person, they fill in the information, on the same sheet, sort-of like an heirloom piece, until they pass it on. Sounds fun huh?
YOU ARE TOOOOOOOO MUCH!
Doesn't it make you feel old when you call the cops on someone??? Are you renewing your lease?
Hey Lov! Send me your email & I'll send you exactly what you need to add your own... email me at the12ramble@gmail.com ;) glad you like it! I will add yours to my place once you get it.
Haahhaaa, love it. I returned after New Year's to find my sliding glass door to the balcony shot out from a BB gun?
