it is that time again
would you rather wednesday.....
these are the questions on my mind these days....now that school is back in
and these are questions that i ask myself....and my assistant daily
would you rather eat leftovers or eat a school lunch?
would you rather use the kiddie bathroom in the classroom or hold it?
would you rather tie shoes or blow a nose?
would you rather use liquid glue or glue sticks?
would you rather sit in a little chair or on the floor?
would you rather put things away the right way or allow the kids to do their best?
try to remember....
in the kindergarten world
these are all very valid
and important questions!
so i'm expecting brooke to answer all of these! :)

***Leftovers
***HOLD IT!!! (Except when I was pregnant, I would have had to break down and use the kidde pottie)
***Tie shoes (Although I've done both, last year I had to teach a second grader who had been retained, so was really a third grader HOW to blow his nose)
***Glue sticks (Less messy)
***Floor
***Let them put it away (and stay late after school to put it away "my way")
***What are your answers???
Ahh! I couldn't click *comment* fast enough...
- Depends on what's for lunch in the cafeteria...if it's not pizza, baked spaghetti, or chips with chili and cheese then....leftovers
- LITTLE POTTY!!! I use mine all the time and I used the one in your room too! ;) When you got to go, you've got to go!
- Tie shoes...I don't do noses!
- Glue sticks (I HATE liquid glue)
- Floor unless my kids are seated at their desk then little chair with them.
- I DO IT MYSELF, forget giving them a chance, that would mean me doing anyways in the end! :)
Loved it!
Oh what fun questions. Kinders are darling!
~ Leftovers (unless it's pizza day)
~ Hold it. Definitely hold it.
~ This is easy, tie shoes!
~ Glue stick (does anybody use liquid glue anymore?)
~ I'm older than all of you, better give me the chair.
~ Okay, I know the correct answer is to let them put it away themselves, let them learn, blah, blah, blah. But my answer is: put things away the right way.
BTW, I like your new button, and I grabbed it!
~leftovers, cafeteria food is normally a bit to be desired
~if it is a heavily used bathroom, hold it. I have a bathroom across from the media center that is rarely used so I call it my personal bathroom.
~Tie shoes. Noses are yucky!
~I love some glue sticks!
~My first response was Let them put it away, but I always had older kids so they were capable. For kinders, maybe I would do it.
Great questions!
